In a world of increasing distractions, kids need reliable tools to thrive. The martial arts are known for tapping into the power of concentration, resilience, respect, and grit. The result - stronger bodies, stronger minds, and stronger individuals.
Our school rolls through immersive programs designed to dive deep into various forms of martial arts. With highly engaging and informative 8-10 week training blocks centered around boxing, kickboxing, grappling, fitness, kata, scenario based training, kempo, and yoga we teach students to protect and empower themselves in a fun yet disciplined learning environment.
Master Bradley Lemley has trained in the martial arts for more than 30 years, beginning at age seven and never looking back. A lifelong student and teacher, he holds a 6th-degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate and has earned three full-contact kickboxing titles (two New York State amateur and one New York State professional). He opened his first school at nineteen and has led thriving programs ever since—guiding his community through challenges from Superstorm Sandy to the COVID-19 pandemic with the same resilience he teaches on the mat. Bradley’s coaching philosophy is simple: the teacher’s first responsibility is the welfare and growth of the student. His classes emphasize safety, clear structure, and calm under pressure while building practical self-defense, fitness, and character. Beyond striking and grappling, he integrates breathwork and mindfulness informed by a dedicated Ashtanga Yoga practice (since 2012) and sustained study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras with Sanskrit scholar Sudhir Heggadde (since 2017).
He directs The Art of Self Defense and the Growth on the Go mobile program for schools and camps, bringing high-energy, fully managed enrichment to youth across the state. On screen, he appeared as himself in the Tubi film Lord of the Streets, showcasing choreographed martial-arts skills alongside UFC fighter Khalil Rountree, and Pride legend, Rampage Jackson. Master Bradley Lemley is also a proud doggy dad to his 14 year old husky, Thor. He is said to be as lazy as he is handsome and his pastimes are crossing the street and staring in judgement. He enjoys whip cream but refuses bacon. He is a good boy and available for pawtographs.
