STYLES OF YOGA

ASHTANGA YOGA

The Ashtanga Primary Series follows a specific sequence of postures

(asanas) that include Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), standing poses,

seated forward bends, twists, and inversions, all linked with deep,

rhythmic breathing (Ujjayi breath). This traditional and beautiful practice is a journey toward the inner dimensions of yoga: Pratyahara (sense withdrawal),

Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (self-realization).

POWER YOGA

Vinyasa yoga is a creative form of yoga where poses are linked together

with breath in a continuous, flowing sequence. It is unique and fun practice for the variety if offers. There is no standard sequence in Vinyasa yoga, so the style, pace and intensity will all vary depending on students and teacher.

YIN YOGA

Slow down and let go. Yin Yoga focuses on long, steady holds that target the deeper connective tissues — improving mobility, joint health, and relaxation. Each posture is held for several minutes, allowing the body to unwind and the mind to settle into stillness. Perfect for anyone seeking recovery, flexibility, or a calm reset after a busy day. Expect quiet focus, deep stretches, and lasting peace of mind.
